September 30 is annually recognized as National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, and Orange Shirt Day, acknowledging the residential school system and the legacy it left behind. The day serves as a reminder to reflect on what reconciliation means, commit to learning about Indigenous history and culture and how to support Survivors on their healing journey each and every day.
